Komoo, part of Steer Automotive Group, has expanded its UK repair network with the opening of three new sites aimed at strengthening fleet repair capability across key regions.
The latest expansion increases Komoo’s national footprint to 23 locations and includes a second site in Edinburgh, a new facility at Birmingham Airport and an additional operation in Aberdeen.
The new Edinburgh location spans more than 10,000sqft and will provide full structural repair capabilities for larger fleet vehicles. Meanwhile, the Birmingham Airport facility features a four-bay Van POD designed to support both fast-track and larger-scale repairs in a time-sensitive operational environment.
Komoo’s second Aberdeen site includes a 3,500sqft warehouse with capacity for more than 100 vehicles, supporting increased throughput and fleet handling capability.
Steer Automotive Group said the additional sites will improve repair triage capability across the network, enabling vehicles to be directed to the most appropriate location to reduce downtime and return vehicles to service more efficiently.
Carl Henderson, Managing Director at Komoo, said: “We continue to listen to our customers and are committed to providing bespoke repair solutions, enabling them to achieve their core objectives, whilst delivering high quality repairs promptly at an affordable price.”
Catrin Morgan, Sales & Marketing Director at Komoo, added: “This marks an important step forward for us and is an exciting part of our journey. This is all about our customers – giving them better solutions.”
Steer Automotive Group said the expansion forms part of continued investment in network growth, customer service and specialist fleet repair capability across the UK.
The group currently operates more than 200 accident repair centres nationwide and repairs more than 250,000 vehicles annually.
