ClaimsTech momentum builds

Positive engagement and early business opportunities are already emerging from ClaimsTech – The Pitch 2026 following the announcement of this year’s finalists.

The annual programme, delivered by ILC, is designed to support start-up and scale-up insurtech businesses by connecting them with senior claims professionals, insurers and industry stakeholders from across the UK market.

This year’s finalists – Fixzy.ai, FraudOps, Nolana, SwiftCase and Veridox – were selected following a competitive online semi-final process, with the live final set to take place at Kennedys in London on 18 June.

Since the finalists were announced, participants have already reported valuable industry engagement, networking opportunities and constructive feedback from the judging panel.

Ty Zamkow, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Nolana, highlighted the immediate impact of the programme following introductions made through the event process.

Ty said: “Thanks so much. We loved the event and had two people reach out afterwards.”

The judging process has also been positively received by finalists, particularly the detailed feedback and scoring insights shared with participants following the semi-finals.

Dan Sadler, Director at Veridox, said: “We’re all absolutely delighted and genuinely appreciate the opportunity.

“I also really appreciate the feedback and scoring breakdown from the judges, that’s really useful and not something I’ve seen before, so it’s very helpful.”

ClaimsTech – The Pitch continues to position itself as a platform focused not only on recognising innovation within the claims sector, but also on creating meaningful connections between emerging technology businesses and established market leaders.

The live final in June will see each finalist deliver a 10-minute presentation to a judging panel made up of senior claims professionals and decision-makers from across the insurance sector. Attendees will include insurers, technology providers, investors and industry specialists.

Headline sponsor Kennedys will host the final, supported by Corporate Partners Solera Audatex and Verisk, alongside sponsors Shift – winners of the inaugural competition in 2023 – and Unitary. Associate partners include Finpro, InsurLab Germany and Insurtech UK.

The winner of ClaimsTech – The Pitch 2026 will be announced following the live event in June.
