Countdown builds for ClaimsTech – The Pitch 2026 as entry deadline approaches

The race is on for claims technology innovators as the entry deadline for ILC’s ClaimsTech – The Pitch 2026 rapidly approaches, with submissions closing at the end of March. Interest has already been strong, with a number of impressive and innovative solutions submitted from across the insurtech landscape.

Taking place on 18 June in London, the event will once again bring together the brightest emerging technologies and some of the most influential decision-makers in the UK insurance market. The competition provides start-ups and scale-ups with a rare opportunity to showcase their ideas directly to senior claims leaders and industry partners.

This year’s judging panel features 30 expert judges representing many of the UK’s leading insurers, including Allianz, AXA, Ageas, Zurich, Munich Re, Saga, Markerstudy, Ecclesiastical, Homeprotect, Howden, Trinity Claims and Tesco Insurance & Money Services. Their presence ensures finalists will receive valuable feedback, insight and exposure to potential commercial partners.

New for 2026 is a two-stage competition format. Applicants will first take part in online qualifying rounds, before the most promising solutions are invited to pitch live in London. Finalists will present their technology in person to the insurer panel and a live audience of industry leaders, creating a powerful platform to accelerate growth and secure partnerships.

Jonathon Valentine, ILC ClaimsTech Lead and CIO at ThingCo, highlighted the opportunity for innovators: “For any start-up in the insurance claims space, the chance to pitch at ClaimsTech – The Pitch is a game-changer. Engaging directly with industry leaders, getting instant feedback, and potentially securing partnerships can accelerate a business in ways that few other opportunities allow.”

The event is headline sponsored by Kennedys, supported by Corporate Partners Verisk and Solera Audatex, and sponsor Shift Technology UK Ltd, with Associate Partners Insurtech UK, Finpro and InsurLab Germany contributing to the winner’s business development prize package.

With the industry eager to discover the next big breakthrough in claimstech, innovators are encouraged to act quickly.

Entries close at the end of March.
