EDAM Group joins AI Code of Conduct

The EDAM Group has announced it is joining the Code of Conduct initiative for the development, implementation, and use of artificial intelligence (AI) in insurance claims.

The Code has been developed by 127 industry experts to establish and uphold the highest standards of behaviour and ethical responsibility in AI utilisation within the insurance industry.

It focuses on 10 key issues, including safety, security, robustness, transparency, explainability, fairness, accountability, governance, contestability, and redress.

Simon Gallimore, CEO of the EDAM Group, said, “Joining the Code of Conduct initiative is a natural extension of our commitment to ethical and customer-centric business practices.
