Verifii rollout boosts subsidence claims efficiency 

Enviro Trees UK is continuing to grow its influence across the insurance claims sector, with Verifii – the digital platform that won ILC’s ClaimsTech – The Pitch 2024 – now fully deployed and delivering results for clients nationwide. 

Following its victory in ILC’s innovation competition, Verifii has moved rapidly from pilot to production. It is now actively supporting clients across the UK, delivering more streamlined assessments and facilitating data-led decision-making in subsidence claims. 

One of the platform’s major milestones is the launch of a live partnership with Auger. The collaboration is already yielding benefits: “We’re enabling the production of a site investigation, arboricultural report and mitigation quote bundle within just 20 days of instruction – and with only one site visit,” explained James Murrey, Chief Operating Officer, Enviro Trees. This contrasts with the traditional two-visit model, offering both time and cost efficiencies. 

Platform enhancements and smarter insights 

Verifii has undergone several enhancements to make it more user-friendly and field-ready. Improvements include a cleaner, more intuitive interface that simplifies deployment to field staff, and new features such as carbon and CO2 sequestration reporting. These help teams evaluate the environmental impact of mitigation measures and encourage less invasive interventions. 

“This ensures we contain the negative impact of mitigation,” noted James, highlighting the preference for surgical vegetation removal rather than widespread clearance. 

Video capture capabilities have also been added, improving office-based understanding of site conditions and helping prepare tree crews for mitigation works with greater precision and insight. 

Proactive prevention and future ambitions 

In a further step towards a more sustainable and proactive model, the platform now supports Tree Condition Reports and Subsidence Risk Assessments – tools that can help insurers and property owners identify issues before a claim arises. 

With more collaborations on the horizon, Enviro Trees UK is preparing to push its sustainability agenda even further: “We’re collaborating with some organisations to take our sustainability game to the next level – watch this space!”
