Flawless Soil Testing has achieved UKAS accreditation to Quality Management Standard BS EN ISO IEC 17025:2017 for a range of soil materials testing disciplines.
The company started its journey as an established soil materials testing laboratory in December 2022.
The laboratory originated as a small family-oriented business comprising three personnel with over 30 years’ experience within the industry. Following much hard work, drive and determination the laboratory has now expanded to seven members with a combined experience of over 100 years.
The business prides itself on its professionalism, integrity, reliability, accuracy and consistent turnaround times. As a result, Flawless has steadily increased its client base within the soil materials testing sector based predominantly around the insurance claims and site investigation sectors.
The Laboratory has been competently led by J. Garrett (Laboratory Managing Director) who has 24 years’ experience within the soil materials testing sector.
Meanwhile, B. Roper (Quality Assurance Director), who has 16 years’ experience within the industry, was appointed to progress the business towards UKAS accreditation. With a determined and focused operations and quality team in place, Flawless achieved its objective this January and has now achieved UKAS accreditation to Quality Management Standard BS EN ISO IEC 17025:2017 for a range of soil materials testing disciplines required within the insurance claims site investigation sectors.
A UKAS assessment was conducted in September 2023 with the testing and management system highly praised. This was based on the limited time made available to implement the new test standard methods and establish a complete management system within three months, a challenge for any laboratory.
The laboratory is now fully operational to UKAS requirements and looking forward to a bright and prosperous future ahead.
