ICAB celebrates 25 years’ service

This November ICAB (Insurance Claims Accommodation Bureau) will celebrate its 25th year as an emergency accommodation provider.

The company has grown from a one-man operation providing a hotel booking service to an established and nationally-recognised brand within the alternative accommodation, decant and major loss field, employing 90 people.

However, ICAB has remained true to its roots as a family-run business, with founder Gary Goodman joined at various stages during the journey by his sister and his brother-in-law, and now his three children Joel, Tim and Kellie, who have led a strategic redevelopment since his retirement in 2017.

Meanwhile, the company is also founded on an inclusive and empowering culture. Many colleagues have been part of the ICAB team for more than a decade, while ICAB is a strong supporter of charities relevant to its sector and its workforce. As such it has announced MIND as its new charity partner.

Gary said, “The last 25 years are testament to our mission to serve customers undergoing traumatic experiences due to a peril in the home. We are proud of our history and our continued success and we are excited to see where the business can go in the future. With the combination of advanced technologies, dedicated staff and of course my three children at the helm, we will aim to provide affordable alternative accommodation solutions for all our users.”
