AutoRaise has launched a new online Careers Resource Centre, designed to help young people, schools and employers better understand and access careers in automotive repair.
The launch coincides with National Careers Week and forms part of the charity’s wider commitment to strengthening the future workforce of the vehicle repair industry.
Bringing together clear, practical information in one accessible platform, the Resource Centre includes student-friendly apprenticeship guides, ready-to-use video content for school assemblies, insight into real automotive roles and earning potential, employer guidance on apprenticeship costs and funding, and information on the AutoRaise Bursary.
Despite offering skilled, well-paid and progressive career pathways, the automotive repair sector continues to face challenges in attracting new entrants. The Resource Centre has been created to improve visibility and provide a straightforward pathway from initial interest through to employment.
Emma Speed, Managing Director of AutoRaise, said: “We know the industry needs more young people to see automotive repair as a serious, long-term career option. The Resource Centre is about making that pathway clearer. It gives schools practical content they can use immediately, and it gives students a realistic view of what the industry looks like today.”
The initiative also highlights the impact of the AutoRaise Bursary, which supports employers in recruiting apprentices by helping to bridge the financial gap that can prevent smaller businesses from investing in new talent. The first generation of bursary-supported apprentices is already progressing within the sector, demonstrating the tangible benefits of the programme .
Throughout National Careers Week, AutoRaise will share apprentice stories, employer insights and practical resources across its social channels to encourage engagement from both education and industry partners.
The Resource Centre is free to access and open to students, educators and employers across the UK.
