Fix Auto returns to Tewkesbury

Fix Auto UK has re-established its presence in Tewkesbury following the acquisition of the former repair facility by franchise partners Paul Gravell and Matthew Davies.

The award-winning business duo, recently named Swansea’s Young Businessmen of the Year, moved quickly to secure the 10,000sqft site, ensuring continuity of repair services in the region while expanding their growing portfolio to four repair centres.

The addition of Fix Auto Tewkesbury joins their existing operations at Fix Auto Swansea West, Fix Auto Pontypridd and Fix Auto Hereford. The new facility, which comprises two adjoining units, is managed by Nathan Cooper and Martin Wood and is already completing up to 100 vehicle repairs each month.

The move marks another significant milestone for the pair, who entered business ownership during the Covid-19 lockdown after working together for several years. Alongside the Tewkesbury expansion, they are also preparing to relocate Fix Auto Swansea West into a larger 13,000sqft premises, a move expected to triple the site’s size and increase repair capacity to 200 vehicles per month.

Across all four locations, the businesses are currently repairing around 475 vehicles every month, reflecting continued demand for repair capacity across the network.

Paul said: “Re-establishing a presence in Tewkesbury was an opportunity we could not miss out on. It strengthens our overall footprint and allows us to build on the strong foundations already in place here.”

Mark Hutchins, Operations Director at Fix Auto UK, said the expansion demonstrated the ambition and commitment of the franchise partners.

“What Paul and Matthew are achieving is nothing short of incredible,” he said. “Seeing such ambitious and forward-thinking partners as these two and their determination to continue to invest in the brand is impressive. Their commitment to growth, quality, and people is exactly what we look for across the network.”

Fix Auto UK forms part of a global franchised network comprising more than 925 bodyshops and carries out more than 150,000 vehicle repairs each year for insurers, fleet operators and retail customers.
