A new one-day training course designed to support bodyshop leaders and repair professionals has been confirmed for 9 June 2026 by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) in partnership with Bodyshop Consulting.
Led by Ray Jenkins, the course titled ‘Bodyshop Management: getting results and making profit’ aims to provide attendees with practical guidance on improving operational performance, increasing profitability and strengthening long-term business resilience.
The programme is targeted at professionals from a range of backgrounds within the accident repair sector, reflecting the varied responsibilities found across modern bodyshop environments. The course focuses on helping businesses better understand how profitable repair operations should be managed in an increasingly challenging marketplace.
Topics covered throughout the day include self-management, customer satisfaction, identifying breakeven points, business strategy development and managing organisational change with teams. The course will also explore current market conditions and the operational pressures affecting repairers across the sector.
Attendees completing the programme will receive a certificate of attendance alongside eight Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits accredited by the IMI.
