iRG makes winning AX start

iRG Repair Group has made a strong start to its partnership with AX Motor Assist after its Merthyr, Pontypridd, Cardiff and Bridgend sites were recognised in the accident management company’s quarterly approved repairer performance awards.

The four sites were ranked among the top performers in AX Motor Assist’s Q2 performance charts and received a joint award ahead of 180 other repairers.

The partnership between iRG and AX Motor Assist has only been in place since the beginning of 2026, with the recognition following performance against a range of key performance indicators (KPIs).

Liam Savage, Supply Chain Partnership Manager at AX Motor Assist, said: “We usually only present the award to a single top performing site but as iRG’s centres were ranked so closely in the upper echelon it was too difficult for us to pick an overall winner so we decided they deserved to be winners as a group.”

Liam said the four sites had quickly adopted AX Motor Assist’s processes and consistently achieved its performance targets.

He added: “What’s more, our customers are looked after exceptionally well and our operations team finds working with their staff smooth and straightforward on all levels.”

Lee Wallbank, Managing Director at iRG Repair Group, welcomed the recognition at an early stage in the relationship and said maintaining service levels would remain a priority.
