Mirka launches next-generation rotary polisher for precision collision repair

Mirka UK has expanded its advanced tool portfolio with the launch of the Mirka POLAROS RP 600, a next-generation corded rotary polisher designed to bring greater control, precision, and performance to applications across sectors, including collision repair.

The POLAROS RP 600 introduces two intelligent control systems – Ramp Up and Ramp Down – that enable users to maintain stability and reduce risk during operation. The Ramp Up function gradually increases RPM as pressure is applied, preventing sudden surges that can scatter polishing compound. Ramp Down automatically lowers RPM when excessive pressure is detected, protecting both the surface and the machine.

Compact and well-balanced, the tool has been designed for enhanced user control – particularly beneficial during detailed or vertical polishing tasks. With a low noise output of just 58 decibels (comparable to normal conversation), the RP 600 also improves working conditions in shared or noise-sensitive environments.

The tool’s advanced thermal management system ensures minimal internal temperature build-up during prolonged use, helping to protect components and extend the tool’s lifespan.

Additionally, the POLAROS RP 600 is compatible with the myMirka app, allowing users to access custom settings, monitor usage data, and ensure the tool is performing optimally – whether it’s the first use or the hundredth.
