Primrose adopts ‘Train to Gain’ to enhance BS 10125 compliance

Mobile ADAS calibration specialist, Primrose Radar, has partnered with RWC Training to implement its national CPD programme, ‘Train to Gain’, supporting both compliance with BS 10125 and wider workforce development.

The adoption sees 27 technicians from across Primrose’s UK network enrolled onto the flexible, modular programme, with an initial 34 bolt-on courses launched covering advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and electric vehicle (EV) awareness. Plans are already in place to expand the offering to 54 modules.

For Primrose, which requires BS 10125 certification solely for ADAS-related activity, the ‘Train to Gain’ structure allows for targeted learning. The company has chosen only the specific modules needed, without the need to adopt broader core content – supporting a highly tailored and cost-effective training strategy.

Stephen Meadowcroft, Director at Primrose Radar, said: “At Primrose, our culture is centred on growth, development and embracing change. We believe that by investing our training budget wisely, we push ourselves further ahead of the competition. Train to Gain allows us to ensure every one of our 27 technicians, regardless of location, is trained to the same high standards.”

He continued: “This isn’t a tick-box exercise for compliance; it’s about upskilling our staff for the future and achieving sustainable consistency nationwide.”

The programme’s remote delivery model supports standardised learning across multiple locations – a key benefit for a national mobile operation. Primrose’s inclusion of EV awareness training also underlines its commitment to staff safety and employer responsibility as vehicle technology evolves.

Matt Mardell, Business Development Director at RWC Training, said: “Primrose’s commitment is a powerful validation of Train to Gain’s modular design. This partnership showcases the programme’s ability to cater specifically to ADAS specialists, mobile technicians and national businesses outside of the traditional bodyshop setting.”

He added: “Primrose is exactly the kind of dynamic business we built this for – one that is hungry to learn, open to change, and willing to invest wisely in its people to achieve compliance and tangible skill development.”
