Repairify and Opus IVS are bringing together their diagnostic technology, expertise and support capabilities following completion of their merger in July, creating a broader proposition for repairers as vehicle technology becomes increasingly complex.
The combination brings together Repairify’s remote diagnostics expertise and established service network with Opus IVS’s advanced diagnostic hardware and software and technical helpdesk capabilities. Both businesses will continue to operate as individual brands.
The businesses said the combination will give repairers, dealers and automotive service providers access to a wider range of diagnostic technology, technical expertise and support across the vehicle repair process.
Phil Peace, Managing Director at Repairify, said: “Repairify and Opus IVS, while continuing to operate as individual brands, each bring significant strengths to the table. By bringing those capabilities together, we can offer customers access to a broader range of technology, expertise and support.”
The combined portfolio includes Repairify’s remote services, AIO device and asTech Digital advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) Pro+ v2, alongside Opus IVS’s CarDAQ Pro3 and DrivePro2.
Repairify said the complementary technologies and expertise will help repair professionals work more efficiently and address increasingly complex technical challenges as vehicle systems continue to evolve.
Phil added: “Vehicle technology is changing rapidly, and the diagnostic requirements that come with it are becoming increasingly sophisticated.
“Our ambition is to ensure that repair professionals have the technology, expertise, and support they need to keep pace.”
Repairify and Opus IVS will showcase their combined capabilities at Automechanika Frankfurt from 8–12 September, providing the industry with an opportunity to see the direction of the newly combined organisations following the merger.
