Repairify and Opus IVS have completed the combination of their automotive diagnostics businesses, bringing the two organisations together under a unified operating structure designed to strengthen diagnostic capabilities and support the evolving needs of the automotive repair sector.
The transaction follows the companies’ announcement earlier this year outlining plans to combine their respective diagnostics operations. The newly integrated business brings together complementary technologies, service networks and technical expertise to enhance support for repairers, collision centres, dealership bodyshops and mobile automotive service providers.
The combined organisation aims to accelerate the development of diagnostic technologies while providing customers with a more integrated experience through aligned engineering, service delivery and customer support functions. Leadership teams from both businesses will oversee the integration to ensure continuity for customers and partners.
Srisu Subrahmanyam, Chief Executive Officer at Repairify, said: “By bringing together Repairify’s industry-leading remote diagnostic expertise and Opus IVS’s advanced hardware and software capabilities, we are creating a stronger platform for innovation and customer success.
“Together, we can accelerate the development of next-generation diagnostic and repair technologies while delivering even greater value, support and expertise to our customers. As vehicles become increasingly complex and the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) landscape continues to evolve, our combined organisation is uniquely positioned to help repair professionals navigate these changes with confidence and stay ahead of the industry’s future.”
Brian Herron, Chief Executive Officer at Opus IVS, will lead the combined diagnostics business, which includes the asTech, Opus IVS and BlueDriver brands. He said: “Today is an important milestone for our two companies’ growth journeys. By bringing together our teams, technologies and expertise, we are strengthening our ability to serve customers with even greater innovation, reliability and value.
“We look forward to accelerating the development of the next generation of technology solutions for the automotive diagnostic and repair industry, helping shops and technicians work more efficiently, make better decisions and stay ahead in an increasingly connected automotive landscape.”
