Silverlake Automotive Recycling has achieved a rare quadruple ISO certification, underlining its commitment to best practice and operational excellence.
The business has successfully renewed its ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) accreditations, while adding ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) for the first time.
ISO 45001 was pursued to formally validate and strengthen Silverlake’s long-established health and safety systems. The certification represents a strategic investment aimed at safeguarding employees and stakeholders in an industry facing rapid technological, environmental and regulatory change.
Tom Harvey, Head of Organisation Development at Silverlake Automotive Recycling, said: “Achieving ISO 45001 alongside our existing certifications reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards across every aspect of the business. This milestone not only reinforces the robustness of our operations, but also sets a benchmark for professional standards within the UK’s automotive recycling sector”.
The four accreditations now form a cornerstone of Silverlake’s operations, reflecting a focus on quality, sustainability, information security and health and safety. The achievement sends a strong message to customers, partners and the wider industry that the company continues to lead by example in responsible and forward-thinking recycling practices.
As the sector evolves to accommodate increasingly complex vehicles, growing circular economy initiatives and rising environmental obligations, adherence to internationally recognised standards ensures Silverlake remains at the forefront of industry best practice.
