Steer Automotive Group has announced the appointment of Darren Mee as Chief Financial Officer as the business continues to expand and strengthen its leadership team.
The appointment supports Steer’s growth strategy and reflects its commitment to building board-level expertise as the group scales its operations.
Darren brings significant cross-sector experience, having held senior financial roles in both public and private organisations. Most recently, he served as Group CFO at International Schools Partnership, where he played a central role in the organisation’s rapid global expansion. During his nine-year tenure, the group grew to over 100 schools across 25 countries, establishing itself as a leading name in the global K–12 education sector.
Darren’s track record in scaling multi-site operations aligns closely with Steer’s strategic priorities. His financial leadership is expected to contribute significantly to the group’s long-term success as it continues to invest in its people, infrastructure and partnerships.
Welcoming the appointment, Steer Chief Executive Richard Steer said: “On behalf of myself and Gavin Ruddick, our Chief Operating Officer, we are delighted Darren has joined our board to play a key role in our future business success.”
