MGAA become ILC’s First Industry Body Partner

I Love Claims is excited to announce that the MGA Association are to become first ever accredited industry body partner.

The MGAA is the only UK trade association that represents, develops, educates and promotes the MGA market and its members.

The MGAA is a non-profit organisation founded in 2011 by a group of individuals who saw the need for an association to represent Managing General Agents (MGAs); lobbying on their behalf, communicating their considerable benefits and maintaining high standards within the industry.

ILC is a community of over 4,000 like-minded individuals and businesses that work within the Motor, Home and ClaimsTech claims insurance supply chain.

The MGAA mark a new area of partnership for ILC, they join insurer partners including the likes of Ageas, Aviva, ERS, LV=, and Zurich.

ILC’s Stuart Ballantyne said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have the MGA association join us as an accredited Industry Body Partner and we hope it will be the first of many such tie ins with trade and representative bodies in the insurance world.

This partnership with the MGA association is of particular importance to ILC as it gives our existing membership and partners the ability to interact with not only Mike Keating and his team at the association but the MGA community at large.

MGA’s are becoming an increasingly influential and important distribution channel for Insurance products and we are really looking forward to having them participate in our events and mix with the wider ILC membership.”

Mike Keating, CEO of the MGAA said “We are delighted to be joining the ILC as an accredited industry partner. Underwriting and Claims expertise are at the heart of all professional MGAs and the opportunity for our members to engage with the ILC community to further enhance their knowledge is invaluable”
