Gelder Group makes Living Wage pledge

Gelder Group has become only the second employer in Lincolnshire to sign-up to a commitment to pay the Real Living Wage to employees.

The Real Living Wage is based on living costs and varies from region to region. To date, 10,000 companies have signed up with more than 300,000 employees receiving a pay increase as a result.

Arran Fullwood, Finance Director, said, “Introducing the Living Wage is not only the right thing to do in our current economic climate; it also reinforces our goal of ‘inspiring a new generation in construction’. This is our long-term investment in our people based on our core values and beliefs and our commitment towards being the company to work for.”
