Some 300 insurance professionals gathered at the QEII Centre in London last week for the 2025 ILC MGA Claims Conference, bringing together insurers, MGAs, and service providers for a day of industry insight, shared learning and sector-wide collaboration.
Held in association with the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA), the conference centred around the theme ‘The MGA claims playbook’, addressing evolving strategies, performance, and innovation across motor and property claims. Attendees engaged in sessions covering key topics including AI, regulation, talent, TPA strategies, and commercial speciality claims.
The day featured contributions from leading voices including Mark Eastham, CEO at Homeprotect, and Steve Kingshott, insurance CEO and advisor, who shared strategic perspectives on market change. Other highlights included FCA’s Lisa Sturley on regulation, and Nigel Walsh, Global Head of Insurance at ServiceNow, who explored the real impact of AI in claims. Meanwhile, the MGAA’s Next Gen session highlighted the need to embrace the next generation of claims professionals and practices for the future.
Delegates welcomed the opportunity to network, share ideas and connect with peers across the MGA ecosystem.
One attendee remarked: “As a business, we found the event really useful and had lots of opportunity to meet new and existing clients.” Others praised the smooth delivery and the relevance of the content. “Congratulations on another excellent event. I particularly enjoy the way you bring a wide variety of experts together to focus on one key area.”
Supported by Fraud Claims Essentials Partner Robertsons, Gold Sponsors Bdeo, Carpenters, Enterprise, Miss Moneypenny and Verisk, and Silver Sponsors Belfor UK Ltd, CRIF Decision Solutions and Prism Claims Group, the conference reflected the collective commitment of the sector to continuous improvement.
By creating space for expert-led dialogue and meaningful engagement, ILC continues to support a better tomorrow for the MGA claims community.
